Ingredients
For lamb
1kg lamb chunks (with bone)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
For rice
1 cup basmati rice
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tomato, diced
1 onion, diced
2 garlic, diced
5 green cardamom
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Salt to taste

Method
1. Fill a pot with water and bring to boil.
2. Cook the lamb and all its ingredients on slow fire until lamb is tender and cooked. This will take 1 1/2 hours.
3. Set the lamb aside.
4. In the pot in which you want to cook rice, saute ingredients for rice with oil.
5. Then pour the water previously used to cook the lamb (remember to throw the fat) into the pot.
6. When water is warm, pour in rice and allow to cook.
7. Serve rice with lamb.
Tip: When the rice is just cooked, gently scoop the rice and move it around so the cooking is even. Be gentle, though, because you don´t want the grains to break.
